Our Master Prof. DR. K.H. Mochammad Zaki, M.M., he is the founder of Islamic boarding school. Jawaahirul Hikmah III which means Pearls of Wisdom or better known as "Pondok JH", was established on May 25, 1995. KH Moch Zaki was born in Tulungagung on May 25, 1950. He lives in the hamlet of Tumpuk, Besuki Tulungagung as a caretaker for a boarding school Jawaahirul Hikmah III, he is the first kyai at the Islamic boarding school Jawaahirul Hikmah III, his father is H. Maksum, his mother is Marhamah, his father is from Kalimantan, namely in Banjarmasin or the congregation calls him "Banjar" and his mother is from Banyumas Pekalongan, Central Java.
Kyai Moch Zaki's wife is named Nyai Hj's mother. Nanik is someone who comes from Tulungagung, which is next to the square which people usually call "Kampung Ndalem" she is the daughter of H. Mujaini Mansyur and Mrs. Hj. Hamma. From his marriage he was blessed with four sons, including: Gus Wahyu Diansyah, Gus Sofyan Zaldi, Gus Daris Syifa Auris, Ning Siska Ardila.
In the family of kyai Moch Zaki is the figure of Abah (father) who is very concerned about his children and also his students. Every night he does not forget to wake up and do the sunnah prayers. As the administrator of the Islamic Boarding School Foundation, he looks very simple unlike the kiai in general who everywhere always wears a turban attached to his shoulder, but kyai Moch Zaki only looks simple by wearing short-sleeved batik with an ordinary sarong and not infrequently he usually participate in the community service activities carried out by the boarding school students, so simple he usually when new students enter the boarding school will not recognize if he is a kiai and also the owner of the boarding school.
Kiai Moch Zaki and his wife are figures who are very concerned about their students, in equipping their students not only with religious knowledge but also with formal knowledge where he makes the motto of aligning education through education with noble character. He also taught how to do entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship such as teaching how to cultivate gouramy, catfish and freshwater crayfish, while for female students they were taught to sew clothes such as wedding dresses, drum bands and also for fashion show competitions. All this he did so that after leaving the hut the students had their provisions, so that the students received provisions and after leaving the hut they could compete with people outside the hut.
On April 9, 2016 he died and the management of the Islamic Boarding School was continued by his son Gus H. Sofan Zaldi and assisted by Gus H. Wahyu Diansyah and Gus Daris Syifa Auris until now.
